Feed Dayton Urban Farming Program
«
on:

The Feed Dayton Urban Farming Program is just weeks away from planting its first full scale
farm
to provide fresh produce for area agencies involved in feeding or giving food to those going through difficult times.
Our 1st year goal is to grow and harvest over 100,000 pounds of high nutrition produce for distribution through local churches and agencies. With your help, we can do even more!
We also have created a "Harvest for a Share" program where we will
register
local residents to come and harvest our crops for us. In return, they will be able to
keep 20% of what they pick
, enabling Feed dayton to
donate the remaining 80%
to the food distribution networks.
To learn more about this exciting program and find out how you can get involved, go to
www.feeddayton.org
.
Thank you for helping to spread the word!
