Immediately following practice the GDRA Junior Boosters will
be having a spaghetti dinner as a fundraiser for a new video camera and
grill. The dinner will consist of salad, spaghetti, garlic bread, drinks and
dessert. We will have a 50/50 raffle and other door prizes. The dinner will
be held at the Dayton Canoe Club directly across the river from the rowing
docks. The cost will be $7.00 per person or $25.00 per family.
Parking can be found at Island Metro Park and the Canoe Club is a short walk across the Helena Street Bridge.

If you have never been inside the Canoe Club, then this is a great chance to check out this historic facility. The main building was under construction
when Dayton was hit by the Great Flood of 1913. The hardwood floor upstairs harkens back to an era when ballroom dances were regular events.
